I measured to the same pose, and came up with 12mm's wide. <br /><br />So, I believe the squares on the craft mat are one centimeter in diameter. <br /><br />If that is true, the vehicle is roughly 90mm's - 100mm's long x 60mm's wide.<br /><br /><br />Regards,<br /><br />RobAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225875593099728358.post-3602814327102660252009-07-27T07:58:49.733+01:002009-07-27T07:58:49.733+01:00But if you want to use them as Space Elves, or pro...But if you want to use them as Space Elves, or proxies for whichever underrepresented property you'd like, feel welcome. Passenger comfort isn't even on the list of priorities when it comes to APC design. We grunts in the back were merely "cargo."<br /><br />I also envisioned the aquatic beings were much more flexible than we humans, and would have less "elbow room" requirements. The APC pod on the back isn't the only space I imagined where the troops would be located. There's also the "tub" in the main hull where troops could be stored, since the APC module is a cap on top of this tub. The APC pod would be more of a foyer or airlock/waterlock for exiting troops, though a few could ride in there as well (note the observation dome at the top of the pod).<br /><br />Feel free to ask any more questions. However, let me assure you, Eldar were the last thing on my mind when this design was coming to the forefront. I was intrigued by Khurasan's description of the Kark troopers, and how they were fighting in a hostile environment just being above the surface of the water. The "submarine crossed with an antigrav tank" ideas just flowed from there.<br /><br />Best,<br />John Bear RossJohn Bear Rosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16155726230456091639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225875593099728358.post-38862223005075417642009-07-27T04:09:17.769+01:002009-07-27T04:09:17.769+01:00Yay!

Things closer to the lens will appear disproprtionately larger, things further from it disproportionately smaller. The vehicle is very long so the passenger drum appears to be small. It's definitely not small. It's large enough to carry five terrestrials or seven aquatics (aquatics need less room) easily. John Bear Ross, the designer, is a marine and he knows about passenger compartments in vehicles!Khurasan Miniatureshttp://khurasanminiatures.tripod.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225875593099728358.post-14612274364217619172009-07-26T12:29:28.334+01:002009-07-26T12:29:28.334+01:00Nice but too small for an APC [Armoured Personel C...Nice but too small for an APC [Armoured Personel Carrier] unless the beings are gnomes or smaller.APJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07838842070403355924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225875593099728358.post-85690402049525733212009-07-26T06:13:30.761+01:002009-07-26T06:13:30.761+01:00It doesn't hold people. :)It doesn't hold people. :)Khurasan Miniatureshttp://khurasanminiatures.tripod.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225875593099728358.post-43880318689473971392009-07-26T06:00:43.712+01:002009-07-26T06:00:43.712+01:00Very very nice, although how it can be described a...Very very nice, although how it can be described as an APC I'm not sure.
