Antenociti's Workshop teases upcoming Kickstater

Hi Everyone,  I spied this piece of news on Antenociti's Workshop's facebook page:

Quick FYI: We will be running a Kickstarter in 2014 that will cover resin scenery (lots of it), MDF structures, Vehicles and figures.

More details sometime later, but i know that many have been waiting for us to make a decision one way or another.

So, if you have a hankering for some serious quantities of resin and terrain at great prices, save a bit of pocket money for early 2014.

While this will be stated for 28mm,  much of their scenery and items meant for 28mm work great for 15mm as well.

I also know they have some cool VTOLs and dropships in the works too.

Exciting news! Can't wait to see what they come out with.

Army in a Day - GZG UNSC and Antenocitis Workshop Grav-Tank

Hi everyone, I've had these GZG UNSC-L and the AW light grav tank for a while now and I wanted to be able to field them on the table top.  I figured I'd see how many I could get done in one night.

While not the highest quality, I'm really happy with how they turned out.

I have painted:

2x 8-man squads with 2 SAWs
2x 2-man heavy sniper rifles
1x Command squad (4)
1x Light grav tank

This would probably be between 100 and 150 points in gruntz, depending on how you costed them out.  It'd make a great recon or patrol platoon.

New Vehicles from FATC and Antenociti's Workshop

Last summer, it was revealed that small miniature company Fate Amenable To Change had commissioned Antenociti's Workshop to produce a range of wheeled APCs. Those vehicles - the M577 series - were made available to the public as Salute, and are now being sold via the Antenociti's Workshop website.

The M577 Armored Company Box Set (pictured above) is the best deal available. £57.15 gets you nine vehicles - four of the standard M577 APCs, two of the smaller M576 scouts, two of the larger M578 direct-fire support vehicles, and one M579 command vehicle.

There's been some major confusion about the size of the new Antenociti's Workshop 15mm Governance Of Technology APCs - especially the Hunchback. I think the bad angle on my photograph yesterday has only added fuel to the fire. The APCs are more than large enough to carry a full squad of infantry (although I will agree that the Zebu Land Cruiser is on the small side). 

Unfortunately - I play really small games, so my vehicle collection is a bit limited.  Here are comparison pics against every APC that I own:

Hopefully this helps a bit!  These are certainly not a roomy mobile command center - that's why we have vehicles like Khurasan Caimans. But if you're looking for an armored transport - these are perfectly scaled to carry 15mm sci fi figures to the battlefield.

News Flash - Antenociti's Workshop 15mm Vehicles

Antenociti's Workshop, known for their very popular 28mm Governance Of Technology range, have updated their store with their first 15mm releases.

The NRF Kabardin APC is available with both General Purpose and Anti-Tank turrets.  This is a high-tech wheeled transport that looks like it would be at home anywhere from 50 to 5000 years in humanity's future:

They have also released the NRF Skorpion Light Grav Tank.  While there are enough styling cues in the hull to use the Skorpion alongside the Kabardin APCs, I think this tank would easily be at home in a xenos army:

So let's open our wallets and welcome Antenociti's Workshop to the world of 15mm Sci Fi.  They already have so many great 28mm items to choose from... hopefully we can encourage them to release more of those goodies in 15mm!

I love the Mass Effect style of the new miniatures and have picked up ideas for converting some of my 15mm figures including Critical Mass Games' new Vadorian Assassins.


I want to draw your attention to a new G.O.T. Sentry Bot pack with some tasty aerial drones that have great potential for 15mm games. Again, you get two Sentry Bots for £5.00. I think these look great - I'm going to have to investigate further as I'm sure there's a role not only on my 15mm Sci Fi battlefields but as hunter-killer drones in far future post-apocalypse games.
