Pole Bitwy Back with a Bang!

As announced on the TMP 15mm Message Board and on his website, Piotr at Pole Bitwy will shortly start producing some lovely sculpts produced by the talented PF.

We understand from Piotr that these greens should hopefully be in production and available for purchase in late September or early October at the latest. If they sell well (and we're pretty sure they will!), even more will be sculpted. The Pole Bitwy web shop will be opening by this weekend.

I've not been in my study at all this week and consequently haven't painted or taken photos of Piotr's excellent Pole Bitwy15mm Sci Fi and other miniatures.

At last! 15mm German WW2 Heads in Gasmasks

Piotr has come up trumps with two new 15mm separate head sprues from Pole Bitwy......

Piotr stayed up till 4am in the morning to create several sample headswops including this figure from an FOW Mid-Late War German rifleman - definitely worth the effort too!

And this WWW2 themed wolfschutzen....

......At last, because I have a WWW2 project waiting in the wings, screaming for them!

IN THE PIPE... Pole Bitwy 15mm Desert Dwellings

Piotr of Pole Bitwy has sent me photos of his soon to be released Desert Dwellings. Breaking away from the traditional square or oblong shaped desert buildings Dan (aka Cacique Caribe) are great for deserts on far off worlds.


As you can see in this photo below, just three models make for a very interesting little settlement on Arakis, Tatooine or similar.


The Desert Dwellings will be available shortly and I will keep you updated on release date and costs.

AaahWoo, Werewolves in Warsaw!

Piotr of Pole Bitwy has sent me the following photos of greens from his forthcoming 15mm Sci Fi ranges.

Werewolf Alpha Male, Simian Trooper, Aquaman

Pole Bitwy 15mm Sci Fi Werewolf Separate Heads

The Werewolf Alpha Male is about 26mm to the top of his head, 24mm to the eyes. The Aquaman is 22mm to the top of the crest on the head and 18mm to the eyes. These minis will be sold in packets of eight minis [two copies each of four different variants]. The werewolf heads sprue should fit most modern sized 15mm minis.

Piotr is also releasing a line of '6mm' Simians. Now these 6mm are in fact 12mm tall, which makes them suitable as an alternative race of Simian troopers or allows you to create a Simian Alliance army!

Pole Bitwy 15mm Sci Fi Simians Pack No.1

When Piotr of Pole Bitwy originally told me that he was having Sci Fi Simians sculpted in 15mm, I really wasn't expecting to want to include them in my Sci Fi armies. I admit, my mind's eye saw something along the lines of the classic Planet of the Apes style big chimps in space suits.

Well, how wrong I was! Piotr has given us some magnificent creatures! I will be delighted to use these to create a new Sci Fi force for Alien Squad Leader and Tom.War!

Pole Bitwy 15mm Sci Fi Simians Pack No.1

I WANT these guys! The Simians will not only make an excellent alien OpFor but also Ogryn style auxiliaries within my main planetary human armies. Skirmish wise, they are simply perfect for Mutants and Death Ray Guns and will be imposing on any tabletop!

Height varies from 24 to 26mm to the top of the head and 22 to 24mm to the eyes. The crouching Simian's height is 22mm to the top of the head and 20mm to the eyes. They were deliberately designed to tower above modern 15mm [18mm] humans. The final packet content might change before being released but will include two copies each of four different sculpts. This is not a one pack wonder! Additional Simian command, heavy weapons and specialist miniatures are being sculpted right now!

Piotr hopes the first pack of 15mm Sci Fi Simians will be available in January 2010 or with a bit of luck sooner. Fingers crossed then!

Incoming Transmission..... Rebel Minis ZOMBIES Preview

Mike at Rebel Minis has sent me a photo of his new 15mm Zombie 'Crazies'. These are going up on the store tonight! The miniatures have been sculpted by by WhiffWhaff (Adam of Green Eyed Miniatures). You'll remember he also sculpted Pole Bitwy's forthcoming 15mm 'Rage' Zombies (click here).

This means both ranges are likely to be completely compatible with each other and will ensure there is plenty of variation in our Zombie hordes. This can only be a boon. Excellent.
