Today I have the honour of launching Assault Publishing Delightful Selection (APDS) 15 mm miniature range. It is planned to be small, premium line of models which are designed for PMC 2640 wargame. The line starts from two sets: SF Combat Engineers and SF Observers.
The first set is ready-to-field unit for PMC 2640 which consists of 6 unique sculps: Sarge with flamethrower, two soldiers with energy weapons, one with grenade launcher, one with bolt-cutter and one charging with pistol and e-tool.
The second one is Observers set consists of six miniatures in total in 3 patterns: observer in Ghillie suit, drone controller with recon drone and cityfight-style observer. They can be used as part of your command or recon units. But it isn’t all! These Observers were designed to form perfect teams with snipers from O8 – every sniper has the observer in the same style (O8 snipers SF-1516 set is also in Assault Publishing offer).

Assault Publishing has released a free expansion and demo ruleset for their PMC 2640 Ruleset. The Main ruleset is very well written and I'd recommend everyone downloads the demo and checks it out for themselves.
From the release:
Today, I am pleased to release PMC 2640: Hell on Echidna, a free demo version of the PMC 2640 wargame! However, it is not only a demo, but additionally a mini-expansion, which features several new, cool rules for those of you who have already purchased the book.Hell on Echidna is not the typical bunch of a few random pages. It contains all the basic things you need to play: core rules (identical to those found in the rulebook), a shortened terrain list, a special, new terrain generator for post-apocalyptic planets, rules for composing an army with basic equipment, a wholly new scenario (not featured in the main rulebook), and a list of several units (including two new ones!) and all their special rules. Additionally, I have included a new Battle Honour, which may be given to your troops if you decide to play your campaign battles on Echidna or a similar devastated planet.
To summarize, Hell on Echidna gives you everything you need to get to know the game's mechanics, theme and design philosophy, and, of course spend a great time playing it! But remember that it's just a small part of what you can find in the full version!

Army in a Can: PMC 2640 Army packs and rules from Assault Publishing
By Harold
From Assault Publishing:
PMC 2640 Cannon Fodder special starters
I’d like to announce an uncommon product: ‘Cannon Fodder’ PMC 2640 starters. They are intended as special gift sets for wargamers and are far from typical, hackneyed X-Mas “we’re going to clear our stock at the end of the year by giving a few percent discount” offers. All packs include a basic PMC 2640 army and a code allowing you to download the PMC 2640 e-book (alternatively, it might be used to get a discount on the printed version or the printed/pdf bundle). But one thing makes them really differ from other similar products: all sets are packed in real metal cans with specially designed labels, which gives them a really extraordinary appearance!
As a rather uncommon product, they are planned to be prepared only occasionally in very limited amounts. If you are looking for a really original gift for your friend or yourself which would merge a fine ruleset, a nice starting army, and superb packaging, consider the Cannon Fodder packs! But better hurry, as there only a few cans were prepared!
These are some really great starter sets of miniatures, and great for starting your PMC 2640 army or building up an existing army. It's also great for starting armies for other rulesets, as it's a really good deal.
The variants are:

Interview - Marcin from Assault Publishing - PMC 2640
By Harold
Hi everyone, and welcome to another interview! Today we talk to Marci from Assault Publishing about their new 15mm sci-fi game PMC 2640.
Hi Marcin, and thanks for taking the time to talk about Assault Publishing and your new game PMC 2640! First question, how long as Assault Publishing been around and who is Assault Publishing?
I've established Assault Publishing in 2011, but of course the preparation to it and designing of the first wargame started many months before in 2010. It is typical after-hours company, like many companies in UK (but running it in Poland is probably more troublesome :P). I consider it as the method of gain finance for next crazy ideas. Starting printing rulebooks in age of 30 made me one of the youngest wargame publishers in the world ;)
But in fact Assault Publishing in fact it's 2 meters on my desk and something about 1,8 liters in my skull, supported by a group of really fine people and cellar acting as rulebook stockpile. :D
