Thanks to a metric crap-load of trouble in my professional and family life, I've run out of time to properly interview each and every sponsor like I intended and managed to do with GZG in between my kids being sick and myself being toilet-ridden for days! With the end of the contest a bit more than two days out, I'll have to stick to just present the prizes generously offered by most of the industry manufacturers! Deepest apologies about all this.
I've though somewhat on how to distribute prizes among the 9 winners (3 per category). With so many different sub-genres and styles, I didn't want to give anyone a 1st prize I deemed more desirable while the 2nd or 3rd prize would fit better with his existing collection. So I just divided the prizes in 9 similar lots, and will let the winners pick the lot they want.
The order of choosing will be:
- Best entry of the category with the most entries
- Best entry of the category with the second most entries
- Best entry of the category with the least entries
- Second best entry of the category with the most entries
- Second best entry of the category with the second most entries
- Second best entry of the category with the least entries
- Third best entry of the category with the most entries
- Third best entry of the category with the second most entries
- Third best entry of the category with the least entries
Am I making some sense here?
