This in from Nic of Eureka Miniatures:
"We are pleased to be able to announce that the masters have now reached completion. Please find attached some preview images for your consideration."
Nic is back from Historicon in mid July when he should have release dates for these figures.

Some nice sculpts there and they look like they're more 'involved in combat' or at least combat patrolling than the 25mm sculpts. I'm planning on getting some! I especially like the AT missile team. I wonder if there will be any bareheaded figures?
ReplyDeleteMatt- if they scale OK, then GZG head swaps would be no problem (easy-to get-at-necks!)
ReplyDeleteAnd i was just expecting a copy of the original figures by Denizen, but hold the phone... that Hvy machine gun and gunner looks sweet. zac

ReplyDeleteWhich is what Nic at Eureka emailed me back in Feb. http://dropshiphorizon.blogspot.com/2011/02/in-pipe-300-club-15mm-ventaurans.html
I think this is a big improvement on simply replicating the original miniatures.
Now, looking forward to their release.
Cheers
Mark
These look very nice indeed, but having bought Nic's other 15mm figs I've come to expect excellence from Eureka Miniatures!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to use these as Spec Ops guys in my GDI-inspired army from Khurasan!
ReplyDeleteM.
I have just added them to my ever lengthening wish list, ive aways been a fan of the Ventaurans and still have the 25mm ones that i bought about fourteen years ago. There light body armor makes them ideal troop choice for an fast strike elite unit such as the commandos. I cant help but wonder if there are any plans to do a couple of fart jet bikes although they were not used by the Ventaurans i think they would make a nice addition to this range. zac
ReplyDeleteThese are very cool!
ReplyDeleteOoo.... Those look rather nice, actually.
ReplyDeleteActually we have special ops guys for the Federals who will be out soon after we reopen!
ReplyDeleteI popped into Eureka on Friday and picked up some of these. They are very nice, crisp castings, and about 19mm tall. There's a little flash on a few parts, but nothing unexpected.
