GZG 15mm All New, New Israelis

.
THE FUTURE IS HERE!

I'm proud to offer another Dropship Horizon exclusive preview, thanks to Jon at GZG.

Following the success of the resculpted and expanded NAC Marines, Jon is pleased to announce a new resculpted and expanded range of GZG SG15 New Israelis.

Jon has taken into account gamers comments about figure poses and has worked with his sculptor to produce a range of miniatures which look like troops in a combat zone. I'm particularly delighted to see this being evident in the squad/platoon leaders.

GZG 15mm Sci Fi New Israelis
SG15-Z6 Rifles 'A', 2 of each pose

GZG 15mm Sci Fi New Israelis
SG15-Z7 Rifles 'B'
, 2 of each pose

GZG 15mm Sci Fi New Israelis
SG15-Z8 SAWs, 2 of each advancing and 1 pose firing prone.

GZG 15mm Sci Fi New Israelis
SG15-Z9 Command & Comms, 2 of each pose

The two 'Sparks' in SC15-Z9 are duplicates of other miniatures, but have additional comms nodules attached to their backpacks and helmets. They could also be used as scouts having embedded scanners in their armour.

Further packs will include:

- 4 snipers
(2 each prone and advancing)

- 4 over-shoulder GMS(P) operators
(again 2 prone firing, 2 advancing)

- 2 Heavy Gauss MG teams
(2 guns and tripod mounts, two seated gunners, two loader/spotters).

Overall, I'm delighted with these minis. The figures are of very human proportions and largely consistent in size and bulk. They appear to average 14.5-15mm sole to eye. This means they are a close match to the original SG15-Z1 New Israeli pack.

The resculpted New Israelis will be available for sale on the webstore this week along with some other goodies including two packs of micro-aerial drones. I'll have photos of the drones and additional comparison photos of these minis within the next couple of days.

  1. Sweet! Hopefully Jon will put out a Gauss AMR team and AT Missile team to go with these!

I've already got a platoon of the old NI troops, so I'll have to get a load of these to bulk it out with new command and better SAW gunners (I really don't like the Aliens style "steady-cam" SAWs the onld figs had).

  3. Wow! Those are awesome.

Glad to see Jon is listening to our comments on desired figure poses. These are some of the best yet, since they look like actual troops doing some fighting, rather than many others which appear to be just standing around, bored out of their minds.....

Thanks for posting the new pics.

    Best regards,
