WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE!

"Out of the Silent Planet"

"Be Quick or Be Dead"

First blood for my Critical Mass Augmented Troopers. Full BatRep to follow.....

"Tailgunner"

Anyhoo! A gratuitous close up of my two favourite figs of the Iron Maiden First Strike Company taken at the start of the game.

  1. Hi Mark,

I hope you are feeling better.

Looking forward to the account of the battle(s).

The miniatures look superb. Both ranges of figs are very nicely detailed.

What paints and colors did you use on your New Israeli troops and vehicles? They look especially nice.

    Best regards,

    Rob

  3. Cheers guys!

Coming out the other side Rob, thanks for asking.

The APCs are sprayed with a Matt Grey from Halfords then painted liberally with Citadel Devlan Mud, then drybrushed.

The GZG figures are black undercoated. Vallejo Green Brown/Iraqi Sand and Camo Brown.

The CMG figures are painted with Citadel Thraka green then 'distressed' by drybrushing with Boltgun Metal.

    Cheers

  4. Hi Mark,

Thanks for the details on the paints.

I really appreciate it. Your vehicles and figures look superb, as does your game table.

Couldn't really tell from the pics, even when enlarged.

They almost look to be gray, matching the vehicles, in some pics.

Looking forward to new announcements on more GZG New Israeli pose releases soon.

    Best regards,

    Rob

  5. Ha ha! Thanks for that Rob. The game table is 'thrown' together with elements I knew wouldn't be scattered by the breeze which picked up as we were setting up. All the scatter undergrowth, was quite litterly 'scattered'! Real 15mm tumbleweed!

The camera lies, even in as natural light as you can get. Almost impossible to get a 'true' picture of colours. The APCs look khaki more than grey but in the photos you see grey.

I'll pop another picture of more New Israeli sculpts on Flickr....
