Khurasan Federal (Neo British) Conversion

In the twisted wreckage of London 2024AD.........

 15mm Neo-British Conversion

Khurasan Federal Army body with head from OOP Elheim modern british helmet with gasmask sprue.

Works for me! If I can get more heads from Matt - there'll be a whole army of these guys. If not, then a small squad of survivors bolstered by a few tattered remnants of other commands together with those droids with sufficient battery life remaining......

Cheers

  1. Nice work!! I love conversions but it must be hard to do it with the 15mms...

  2. Thanks Lobo! Yes and no. On one hand the parts are smaller and more fiddly, but generally they're much easier to cut than say 20mm and you can fudge the smaller detailing more easily.

I've been doing a whole battery of conversions today and five 15mm Federals were completed quicker than two 20mm.

I'm loathe to lose the SAW gunner per se, but I've found that a 1/76th scale SLR fits him very nicely for a complete Neo-British makeover.

  3. Wow those Feds must be huge for 15mm. Any chance of a pic against a 20mm fig?

  4. The Elheim head is small for a 1/76th - the Federal Army figures match the Critical Mass Games' Light Recon I have here on the worktop. The SLR is not to scale with the Federals but doesnt look oddly out of scale either - it's more of a personal 'homage'. Remember the Federals SAW is a larger weapon than a modern SAW such as the M240.

  5. I hope GZG and other manufacturers make selections of scifi heads like Peter Pig has done for his ranges.

  6. Hi

GZG have a small but exquisite range of heads. See them here:

  7. Nice work with the conversions... I really need to dig out some of my 15mm SF pewter and get back into it!

Can't find an email address to tell you directly, but you'll need to update my website in your sidebar - "Brian's Wargame Pages" is now "The Warbard", and the URLs have all changed. I'm still updating a lot of the Stargrunt II/15mm SF stuff.
